Chemist

• Research and development for new products, improving existing products, and cost reduction
• Searching for alternative raw materials and subsequently alternative BOM (Bill of Materials) / Formulas
• Creating formulas / modifying paint formulas
• Providing support in handling non-conformance product and customer complaint investments
• Liasing with various department within organization to understand customer’s requirements
• Research market demands and trends

• Minimum education of Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in as a chemist in a paint company
• Capable of distinguishing colors effectively
• Able to determine the procedures for making paint
